Is anyone running these pads on the street? If so are there any issues. Been hearing that they need heat in them to work and cold stops could be dangerous on the street. Have an opportunity at picking these things up pretty cheap but not if they are not going to work properly. Hot or cold you never know when you will need to panic stop. Thanks for the help guys.

I am running the Hawk Ceramic pads right now and I have not noticed any difference in stopping power when they are cold. If there is a difference I can't tell. They are low on dust and stop great, definitely recommend them.
