Anyone see a problem (aside from maybe speed bumps) from having no gaps with 18's? Thats what I plan to adjust my front QA1's to. Does everyone have long tubes or just don't like the looks of it that low? The prokit wasn't low enough for me.

I don't know what I have on mine but it's too low, red springs and white shocks.
I scrape on everything and bounce around soooo bad, it's super ghetto. But looks okay as long as you aren't driving it.
For comparison my non lowered 99 ws6 and my 00 z28

I loved my pro-kit, got many compliments on the stance. New set up is coilover penske's up front with just cut stock springs in the rear, no pics of that stance yet but dam does it handle a **** ton better. Spring rates are almost identical to Strano's after the cutting, a little softer up front though, well from my estimation anyways (percentage of rate increase with each coil cut). I'm a bit lower all the way around though now...but not by much, pro-kit is the best spring for most cars imo, those just looking for stance and driveability anyways. I also didnt have issues with spring sag like some do

Ahh... First, do you have LS1 or LT1 Pro-kits? They are very different from each other. And FWIW, the LS1's are softer than my springs and you can't cut enough off to make the rate close to the same without slamming the car to the ground. The LT1 springs start way softer, and get slightly stiffer ultimately... However if you cut one of the close coils you didn't alter rate at all, and if you cut one of the wide coils you did and took away a big part of what actually supports the car.
I'm saying your claim about Pro-kits vs. my springs, and Pro-kits in general aren't really well founded or accurate. And FWIW, the LT1 Pro-kits don't have "sag" issues.

Well i didn't know that about the LT1 pro-kit's, i knew there were different spring rates but i had wondered why i hadn't seen the sag issue on my car or others, thats because they are all LT1's. I cut 2 coils from the front and 1.5 from the rear springs, and i knew my spring rates weren't like yours. I think you misunderstood me, i cut stock springs, not the progressive rate pro-kits. I no longer have the eibachs, just cut stockers on all 4 corners. Sorry about that. As far as handling is concerned, id go for your springs or my set-up, but just for stance i can't help but recommend the pro-kit since it does sit very well, on LT1's anyways, and the ride wasn't bad at all either. But i obviously went a different route for the handling aspect
