What brake pads did you use? Several pads are prone to squeaking like hell. Thats why I prefer GM stock pads for our cars, they are clean and don't squeak.

I swapped all four rotors and brake pads on my car last Spring. I went with Baer Eradispeed rotors and Hawk Performance Brake Pads. The pads squealed like crazy for the first four or five months after I installed them, but after that they quieted down. I get an occasional short squeal, but it's not the ear-splitting squeals I was getting last Summer. Going to the dragstrip on a regular basis seemed to help quiet them down too

I prefer the stock pads also. No dusting or squealing. The newer formulation pads are even better, plus they last forever.

I personally don't like the stock pads. Mine squealed like a stuck pig when it was hot outside. I bought some OEM style from Bendix. They dusted qoite a bit at frst, but they don't squeal near as bad. I will get something different soon.

your are suppose to clean your rotors with soap before mounting them. Get ceramic pads(cost more) not semi metallic, biggest difference in the world.
