Default Clunking noise from underneath...please help!

Ive been noticing some strange noises from under my car. Everytime that I hit a bump or something that would make my car jolt quickly I can hear some clunking. At first, I would have to actually hit or go over something for it to make the noise, but then I discovered if I tap on my brakes repeatately I can hear it too. Im not sure what it is. If something is loose, broken, missing, etc. I can only hear it when I run over something, hit something, or tap on the brakes. Anyone have a clue? Thanks

Possibly your control arms, tightening them harder on my car stopped some clunking.

Common problems to check:

Trans mount, LCA bolts, driveshaft loop if you have one.

Took me forever to figure this one out, samething was happening to me and it was my hood. Also check your strut mounts.
