2 c5 passenger side calipers, can i convert 1 to driver side? help

Default 2 c5 passenger side calipers, can i convert 1 to driver side? help

i was wondering if i had 2 passenger side c5 calipers, if i can convert one to the driver side? dont the calipers just have the nipples and the brake line connections in opposite locations, and u can change them? if so let meknow know

They are not interchangeable. If you could figure out a way to mount one on the front side of the car it would probably work. You just don't want the bleeder to be at the bottom...that would make bleeding a nightmare.

I Thought There Was Bleeder Opening On Both Sides, And It Was A Matter Of Switching It , So They Can Be Exchangable

Brake caliper should only have 1 bleeder valve. I've personally never seen one with 2 bleeders.

Only one bleeder screw. Left and right calipers have different part numbers.

got you some calipers of ebay huh? I did the same but was happy just to get pads and hardware & brackets for the price. I considered plugging the exisiting holes and redrilling but will just resell the extra passenger caliper and picking up a new driver's from a dealer.

worst case, couldn't you bleed the caliper off of the bracket w/ the rotor in it then bolt it up after it was bled?
