Good setup?
You would be better off buying a set of Koni 4/3's for $100 more at stranoparts.com, using the lower spring perch with stock springs in the front gives you a 3/4 in drop, and you can do the heater hose mod in the rear for about 1/2-3/4" drop. Your car will ride better with this setup while having more control.
Shocks are the single weakest aspect of these cars and make the single biggest and best improvement you can make to these cars. Even the modest Bilsteins made as big an improvement in control AND comfort as the rest of my suspension mods combined. You are getting good advice here, you need to learn to listen. You won't find one person who doesn't like their Konis, unless they are going track only drag car.
If all you care about is lowering, cut your stock springs and see how "free" feels.
I would suggest revalved bilstiens from stranoparts.com but bilstiens are on backorder right now.
Not to hi-jack but, would Strano springs and KYB adjustables, lower and provide a better ride than stock? The wife said hell no on Konis, so that is the end of that story. Some of us just can't afford them :/ as good as they may be. Thanks
