Default Manual rack with 275 tire size?

Thinking of deleting my power steering. cleaning up the engine bay as much as possible and also wanted to relocate the alternator down below. (LT1)

Aftermarket racks are pretty expensive from what i have seen so that might be what stops me from doing this. but how hard is it to steer with a manual rack and having tire sizes of 275 up front? this is not a DD,but is a forged blower motor. just a weekend toy once awhile to drive. of course when moving the steering should be fine and loose right?

All I can say is a manual rack isn't bad with skinnies. If my car was running I would throw some stockers on it and let you know how it was.

So far i have cleaned up wires under the hood, abs, havc, egr, air, deletes. it would be nice to loose the alternator and bracket and PS reseivor from up top as well. also installing my coilpacks on the back of the firewall instead of on the valve covers. manual rack was just a thought, but i'm sure i can hide the PS box on the frame rail somewhere. also moving the overflow for the radiator so its hidden.
