steering collum

steering collum car was in a previous wreck. hit on the passenger front. the steering collum is angled down and towards the left side of the dash. anyone in collision that can steer me into what to do or look for?

it didn't collapse or break, it just sits more to the left than right. I'm going home soon on leave for x-mas, i'll try to take a picture, but for now here's a quick reference ( . ) instead of ( . )
Maybe in the wreck, the driver's momentum during impact hit the steering wheel and mooved or tweaked the column.
