Default Horrible ride quality

Right now I have the KYB AGX shocks and Vogtland Springs, the car is to low and rides incredibly harsh for what I want. I am interested in the Strano springs, but still I am worried that the KYB's might also be cause of the crappy ride. I would say that the front is alright, but the rear is really really unsettled and unstable over any bumps, and it is almost as if there is no suspension travel left at all. The car is also much lower than I want it to be. I have maybe a max of 2 1/2 inches from the lowest point of the exhaust to the ground. I talked briefly with Sam, and of course I would like to do the shocks, but wondering which option would help more first. Thanks

sounds like most of the problem is the rear springs. koni's may help. Did you try lowering tire pressures to like 30-32 front, 26-28 rear??

Very important here....if you still have the black rubber rear bumpstops,,,take them off and put on a set of stock z28, formula yellow foam style stops. They are much more progressive and better for both ride and handling. Also remove the metal spacer in between the stop and the body, and throw it out.

I bet you didnt get reloc. brackets for the rear control arms. you loose travel when you lower the car without these

no you don't loose travel. the bump stops are the only thing that will limit your travel.

Those are the normal non-Strano Vogtland springs right? Those have a pretty high springrate in the back I've heard.

What kind of settings do the KYB AGX's allow anyway? Is it double adjustable? Or is it one of those shocks that adjusts both compression and rebound with one ****?

Non strano Vogtland springs. They have a single **** with a range of settings, can't remember the exact range. I have limited knowledge, as the stuff was installed before the bought the car. All I have done is the shifter and the 12-bolt.
