lol he no's what he is doing. He has a 400+hp ls1 T/A that the torq arm broke on and 540whp Lt1 T/A. The yare both m6 cars. He built his lt1 T/A and everything that is on the silver T/A was on it when he got it! The Torq arm was bolted to a moser 12 both too.

Moser 12-Bolts are known for that, the bolts on the bottom come loose and cause the torque arm to shift making it crack. If you a do search you will find this is very common on the Moser 12-Bolt, so common us and including other suspension companies void warranties when running the Moser 12. This is all do to Moser's design of bolting the bolts up from the bottom, they are short small bolts and tend to work loose.

Go to Spohn's site and buy a new bracket for $50. But in order to prevent this again I suggest to tack weld the bolts to the bracket.

Hope that helps,
Ryan

Not Spohns fault, it's Moser's.

Unbelievably bad design on those rear ends. The fact that they have not manned up and redesigned that mount says alot.
Really, the fact that bolting your aftermarket TA to Moser's rear voids your TA warranty..........that should be the dealbreaker right there.

Just use safety wire on the bolts. They will not come loose unexpectedly and you will be able to remove them when needed unlike a tack weld.

I think you would have had the same problem with BMR or UMI.
Having those bolts gone is a lot of pressure to put on any arm.

Did you not read the posts above? No matter what brand T/A this would happen. You have to check those damn bolts almost weekly. If you don't this will happen. I run a Spohn on with a 9" and have no problems.

yeah we dont like the moser 12 bolt at all! His other car has a stange and loves it. It still uses the 2 long bolts not the short ones. Who even install the T/A and 12 bolt did not use loctite and the 2 top bolts were gone and the botton ones were losse. This is not spohn's falt. We were just wanting to no if we can get a new rear section for it?

I don't plan on getting a Moser 12 bolt for this very reason.

Exactly why I've had my Moser 9 inch (IE the king of rearends) sitting under my car for close to 9 years without so much as a whimper.... it's taken so much punishment and i've never had an issue. meanwhile my friends have been thru multiple 12 bolts or T/A's in that timeframe.... don't even get me started on the KTRE 12 bolt group purchase for anybody that is REAL OLD SCHOOL.....

Well this moser 12bolt has had 3 sets of different gears and it also wines now mater what has been done to it from what i have been told. His strange 12bolt is quiet and never had any problems. He hates everything about the moser and loves his strange.
