Default Grade 8 bolts for endlinks

Is their a place I can buy Grade 8 bolts in bulk for my swaybar endlinks? My BMR 21mm swaybar has bent 4 of them now in 6 months. Rather than buy the hole endlinks and bushings I'd rather buy like 10 bolts. Anyone know of a place I can order these?

Hmmm....There must be a problem here somewhere. This is the first time I've heard of this one. Either there is a geometry problem, or a setup problem, or you drive your car harder than anyone I've met so far (it is possible). How are they bending? Can you post pics of the bent bolts (on the car and off)? If we can see them, maybe someone will have an idea how to stop it. Just a thought. As for the bulk bolts, try somewhere like tractor supply ($2.78 per pound, I think) or Lowes, Home Depot, Sears hardware, etc. Someone will have the right bolts and lengths....

Good luck!

Well you can get Grade 8 bolts at NAPA.

But like trackbird says why are they bending.
If your not gonna to answer that maybe you should get 20.
These should experience tensile or compression forces.

I think the problem should be addressed and not the symptom.

Chances are good, that if you are finding enough force to bend these bolts, especially inside a sleeve, you are gonna just bend or break the next weakest link, like the ear on the frame.

Why they are bending I have no idea. I have a new set on their for now. I'll see how long they last. I have a road race session at Gateway coming up soon. I guess I'll see how they are doing after the race. I do push it very hard when I take it out on the weekends though. It deffinatly takes some abuse on the backroads.

I had two of the rear bar bolts bend. They had about 1 inch of displacement from end to end. I went to Energy Suspension endlinks and they haven't bent yet (SLP 1LE 21 mm rear bar on 99 SS), about 4 months in service. The Energy Suspension endlink bolts are larger in diameter, looked like going from 3/8 to 7/16 inch diameter, but I didn't get out a caliper and measure them.
