I have driven several different lowering setups and Sam's rides the best. The only one that may handle better is an LG setup but it is harsh and at a 2" drop not street friendly at all.

Even then I wouldn't agree about the LG handling better. They would, but my spring rates and bar combinations are derived right from my own car which I use to autox in at a very high level and have a won championships in more than once. I've played with various rates to make my car work the best for me, and I settled on what in the springs I use/sell. I didn't find stiffer to helped me any on speed and just make it ride stiffer for no real performance gain especially where bumps were involved. FWIW, we use the same front spring rate, just really different rears.

The LG setup I drove seemed much stiffer than yours. I thought LG fronts were 700# springs? I thought you raced with a GC setup in the rear and 600# springs in the front? Not trying be a jerk. Heck, I love your setup and wrote a very positive review on here after i got it on. Peace

We're good... didn't think you were trying to be anything.

There are LG springs, and then LG coil-overs. The springs are 550 front, 180-220 rear and are just springs so you can put on any shock you want, even ones that can't really deal with the rate well. I'm not sure if you ran those or the coil-overs, which are if I recall correctly 600 or so front, and 225 rear (and on the shock springs, with a bit different motion ratio). They use Bilstein "race" shocks, which aren't adjustable and use linear valving.

Either way, both would be "stiffer" than mine, but stiffer doesn't necessarily equate to "better".

As for my car, I got rid of my GC jackers in the back for my springs since my springs are based on what I ran on my jackers. It only made sense to run what I build if I can, and the rears don't come loose like the jackers. In front I still run coil-overs and 600's because I need to play with rates because new and different tires come out. My springs are 550 because I don't think any primarily street, or not looking for every ounce of speed track car needs 600's. And I also won one Championship on 500's in front. So I compromised and make the springs 550.

Cool Didn't know LG made two systems just, knew it felt stiffer than yours from the one time I drove it. It handled good but rode too rough and was too low for a DD IMHO. I have not stepped straight from a LG setup into yours so it is a little hard to compare. You see what I decided to go with though

I've had eibach/revalved Bilsteins, LG springs with the revalved Bilsteins and now Strano springs with Koni's. The last one is the best by far.
