There should be a sticky on this or something. Imagine how many people have bought shitty strut mounts.

I got one of my acdelco's today in the mail, too late to cancel.

YOU WEREN'T KIDDING.

The studs on the mount are crooked as **** and they look like they are just glued in place. The entire mount is made of this age rotted hard plastic type stuff and feels as rigid as an ice cream cone.

I got some acdelco swaybar end links as well and they are pretty shitty too.

How is this stuff passing any type of standard?

Really hoping i can reuse the old mounts, we'll see this weekend.

Rockauto also sells the KYB version ... has anyone tried these? I need a pair for my car and I'm thinking about picking these ones up.

KYB SM5118 & 5119.

Compared to a lot of other parts they aren't that bad. Plus, they are the main connection point for your upper suspension.

Alright so I'm just about to order the Moogs from Rock Auto. Don't want to take the risk on any of the AC Delcos from there. I take it that there's not really a way around replacing these for a car with 100,000 miles? I have to ask since I'm a little worn out on spending money lol.
Also, I can't seem to find the Moog isolators that I need. Anyone have a link to these? Or do they come with the mounts? Thanks!

edit:

Just checking, are these the items that I need?

Yep, those are they. Don't even bother thinking about reusing your stockers, especially after 100k miles and 14 years. Odds aren't too great they'd separate from the stock shocks in one piece anyway. I know, more money, but its best to just replace them.

Napa used to be the best in aftermarket mounts, but now they look like cheap Gabriel etc... Make sure with the Moog mounts to chase the threads, they have rubber and dirt in the threads, so do that before you mount them. The last set I put on said made in India

Use plenty of anti seize. The isolators are listed under "Coil Spring" in the Rock Auto catalog.
