Default Y-Pipe banging with Wolfe Crossmember, any suggestions?

I need to get this fixed. My Y is banging with my crossmember causing Knock Retard. The car is lowered 1.5" so Im afraid if I reroute it someway then it will be WAY to low. Anyone have this problem? I was thinking of going with an H-Pipe but I still think it will hit and give me false KR. What do you guys think? I am so fed up I think Im going to delete my Knock Sensors

There was a huge debate on the "other site" about Wolfe products.

From personal experience, they are the worst I've ever seen. The tolerences are way loose. Tons of fitment issues.

I don't know what to tell you other than sub-frames are a LOT cheaper than exhaust.

Does it ride on the tunnel brace or hit when taking bumps?

I would suggest an DGOETZ Fabrications Tunnel Brace, you can email me for details.

You might be able to get some customer shop to unweld/cut the crossmember up and then weld it back on with some sort of spacer. I had my crossbrace removed for my trak pac tq arm and it is now actually bolted on. The car feels the same as it did before the cutting so I think this is a viable solution.

Definitely and option here but what about getting something that actually fits the car instead of hacking up something to make it fit that should have fit in the first place.

Also washers make simple and effective spacers.

Just my thoughts

Or you could throw it away and get some G2 parts, that fit, with a guarantee.
And you know that you are getting Knock Retard every time it rattles. The
knock sensor thinks that the engine is knocking.

Just my opinion.
