Those look great! Did you guys get the zinc platting on them? If im not mistaking its to keep the rotors from turing colors right? Think i might have to get me a a set of these bad boys.

If you guys will wait up, I'll contact irotor this week and see if they wish to be a sponsor. Maybe I'll set up a GP with them if they are game.

I need new brakes as well, so another GP would be sweet (unless there is still a way to get them). If anyone has any info, please email me ASAP (dmnspd@hotmail.com).
What pads are you guys going to run? I ran EBC Greenstuff pads on my GT, and they made a HUGE improvement.

I was looking on their site, and it looks like $300 is the standard rate. Is it worth the Zinc coating? It's only an extra $50 for the whole set.
I'm almost thinking I could do these on the CNC at work with some Brembo OEM's... heheh naw, too much work to program it!

You know... I just got to thinking...
Whose to say they aren't just buying OEM GM rotors and throwing them on their CNC? Wouldn't that be WORSE? Considering how bad the OEM rotors are, throwing a bunch of holes is going to make them more prone to cracking, not to mention the warping... Anyone have info on this?

If they were the OEM rotors they would already be warped on my car and other who have installed them. They have been tested so far and work really good. One guy uses his brakes hardcore and did 15 track passes and they are still fine. As for the zinc plating, its up to you but I think its $50 well spent.

So how are these rotors working out for everyone? Anyone have closeup pictures of them installed?
Any more info on whether the group buy is still good?

i dont know how to post a pic but let me tell you this is the best mod i have done i had the warped rotors on my car forever and it made me hate driving the car now it stops so nice and they look sweet
i reused my stock pads
i went easy on them to drive home and drove normal for 3 days and then went auto cross racing for the first time and they worked great and didnt warp
this is the best $300 i ever spent
