Default How do you know you need to change your rotors?

I'm about to change the brake pads, how do I know if I need to change the rotors?

Right now I have autozone rotors, and from what I can tell, they still stop the car pretty smoothly.

use your fingers, very powerful tool. if they feel warped, NEW. if they are horribly grooved from bad pads NEW, or you can take then to a local parts store, they will check the size and spin them. but they are like 45 new. so just get new ones.

whenever you change brake pads you need to at least get your rotors turned. thatd be like putting in a new clutch and not touching your flywheel
