When I get my SFC's I am planning to use the time to weld up my own tunnel brace to take place of the stock stamped steel piece. Not sure what good they do but what the hell. BMR has theirs for $90. I can make them and sell them for around $30. If it doesn't fit you can just send it back. Just wanna see if anyone would be interested. Thanks a lot people!!

A tunnel brace connects both sides of the valley left for the driveshaft. The drive shaft loop(DSL) takes place of the tunnel brace. A tunnel brace I think would be a little stronger than the strip steel of a DSL. But if you need a DSL then you cannot have a tunnel brace, since they use the same holes. A tunnel brace has nothing to do with the torque arm, although it may prevent the use of some aftermarket torque arms.

I'm not sure, but that's why I said some torque arms may not fit. A tunnel brace is basically a drive shaft loop without the loop and a little stronger. I don't know what kind of stresses are in that area so I don't know how much of an improvement there would be, couldn't hurt right?
