Default SLP Driveshaft Loop

I have an 02 Z28 Convertible and I am looking to make the body as rigid as possible. I have double diamond SFCs and a STB. Would adding the SLP Installation Kit/Crossbrace (p/n 30055) along with the driveshaft loop (p/n 65050) make any difference? Any convertible people here have these mods? Thanks!

I like the factory unit better than the SLP.
I thought the SLP unit was for header installation.

Yes the installation kit is for header/y-pipe installation but it also allows you to put on the driveshaft loop. I thought I head that people who installed a driveshaft loop felt their car was tied together a lot better and worked well with the SFCs. I'm not sure though.

If you have the stock y-pipe there's a good chance the SLP drive shaft loop will hit the y-pipe under hard acceleration.

If you're talking about the "convertible brace",
don't waste your money or effort. I bought one,
it's a spindly POS that doesn't fit the existing
bolt holes and binds my SLP Y-pipe with no fix
that I can see, other than leaving it in the
closet and off the car. Junk. Junk. Junk.

I'm only calling it "junk" because if I said
what it really is, I'd be censored.

Beside which, the rear piece is only the same
kind of stamping as the M6s get from the factory.
