When is wheel alignment needed?

When is wheel alignment needed? While back I installed eibach pro-kit. After that I had the car aligned. Today I put some bilsteins onto the same springs. Do I need to have the car realigned? To remove the front shock I had to pull the upper a-arm. I think that because of that and the tolerances in bolt holes, the a-arm didn't go into exactly same position as before and the alignemnt might be out of wack now. Am I thinking right?
Re: When is wheel alignment needed? When ever you disassemble suspension parts that could have an impact on alignment, you should get it aligned. Depending on the tolerances used by GM, it will either be "perfectly fine" or "reasonably out". It is best to get it checked before you start wearing tires excessively.
