Default Suspension

Will this slow you down in the 1/4, besides weight? Also can someone tell me how the Drag launch springs work? thanks

Default Re: Suspension

Will what slow you down? There are many parts that make up your suspension setup. Many aftermarket parts are actually lighter and stronger then stock, which in turn could help produce faster times.

Drag launch springs are just what they say. They are springs with a very soft spring rate that allows the rear to "plant" if you will when launching. The weight of the car moves to the rear (not literally) over the rear wheels, and a soft spring like this will allow for better traction.
