yep. I see a set of hollow bars in my future. I'd rather have the weight saved that a saved wait. Was thinking of matching them with some agx on stock springs.

Depends on when/how it's unstable...... I know, that sounds funny, but it's true. More front bar won't help if the shocks are the issue. Too much front roll stiffness vs. rear can cause the front to turn in so fast (under really hard driving like autox) that the rear can't keep up and the car drives in a disjointed fashion.

So, what it comes down to is figuring out what you mean by "more stable", but breaking down the car's actions and what you don't like about them and when (like what kind of input makes it happen). A front bar being bigger might help.

its a 98 z28 has a 9" and kyb agxs umi lower control arms, torque arm and sub frame connectors, and 245/50/16 tires at 34psi.

ill do a quick dodge the rock in the raod and the front feels planted, but the rear feels like there could be more control

I think a set of bars would be better than a front only. I sized mine to compliment each other and that's exactly what I run on my own car. But I also don't know the shock settings you have front vs. rear, and how or why you came to them.

Suspensions have many parts. Each works in conjunction with others, and one change breeds others. Bars are about body roll and balance. Shocks are about transition and stability. A bar change can warrant a shock change, and vice-versa but the basic jobs are different.

Z28/Forumula bar is 30mm, SS/WS6/1LE is 32mm. Mine is 35mm in front.

The Turbo kit you have is problematic. In fact I have a customer having this problem, but he also had it with the stock bar. In short, it's APS's issue if the piping won't even clear the front bar that is OEM on every car built.

will agree with it being aps problem. just wanted to know how much bigger it was. peter at aps has said to put of steel in there to lower the sway bar mount. if i do that and adj the end link the same. will your bars still work fine?

The problem with shimming the bar down like they want to do is this: It puts the swaybar in closer proximity to the tie-rod end, and I have seen bars hit tie-rods and the tie-rod bends. In fact a shorter end-link will make this worse as you shim the bar down.
