Good find.....
And while it's not specific to the 4th gen (though similar to a 3rd gen front), you see the pattern of how the shocks differ in general.
KYB's are all over the map in front, and have basically no change in the rear.
Tokico's valving is a little wonky, and not a lot of change. Since there is no Illumina for the 4th gen, it's good for you to know that a Blue (the non-adjustable) is generally set around setting 2 of an Illumina when both shocks exist for the same car. That'll just give you some background.
The Bilstein Sport is definietly the best of the rest. The damping curve is right, but it lacks any sort of adjustment and you can see basically falls in the middle of what a Koni gives you. In short a Koni can be made not only firmer, but softer than the Bilstein Sport. Relating to a F-body there is NO Bilstein Sport made, only the HD which are valved softer.
I need to thank Intercooler2 for posting this, I franly forgot that it existed. I'd also recommend you take a quick look at the stuff for the Honda Civic as well. They are smaller cars, but use a double a-arm front suspension like the 4th gen does (only smaller). But again you will see similar damping trends there as on the Mustang and it will serve to backup what you are seeing amoung different dampers.
