MAC torque arm?

MAC torque arm? While checking out eBay last night I ran
across a dude selling a MAC torque arm.
This piece looks like a short arm, comes
with a stamped mounting thing that doubles
as a front driveshaft loop. The blurbage
said it relocates the instant center for
better launch, blah blah. But, free lunch
wise, I'd expect maybe this means brake
hop?
Anybody ever see / use this TA, any good /
