Default springs for my 00 T/A

Hey guys, new here. Looking for some advice on a set of springs. Want to go as low as possible but still able to clear longtubes. Also want the best handling obviously. Any recommendations? Car is a 2000 Trans Am.

I'm sorry to say that you are about to find out it's not quite that simple....

First, as low as possible and the best handling don't go together very well. A suspension needs some room to work.

Second, some longtubes drag on stock height cars, let alone ones decked to the ground.

Basically you need to pick your priorities. Lowering a moderate amount 1-1.25" with springs that use a good rate (many don't) will net you the best results on handling and ride, as well as with longtubes. That said, shocks matter more than anything on the handling side, and even moderate drops can rub headers that just hang too low.

Pretty much with longtubes no matter what, you need to take it easy over speedbumps and be careful down gravel driveways or big humps. Depending on what longtubes you get, some might be harder to prevent bottoming out than others like SLPs.
