Default WTB ls1 engine
There is a guy in my auto tech class (Miller Carrer Center for the katy people) that is looking for a complete ls1 engine to work on. He has 1700 to spend, i doesnt matter how many miles it has on it.

I have a 2001 corvett ls1 complete motor with 42,000 miles on it FINE MOTOR for 3500 dollars

I have a LS1 short block that had a knock and a set of 5.3 heads... $450.00 for Both or $300.00 for the short block

i have a short block with 25,000 miles on it sell for $600 still runs no knock or nothing pm me if interested

It's not a 5.7, but I have a 5.3 out of a 2001 Silverado I'll let go for $350.00. It's complete and still in the truck and runs great! He can come by and drive it. It'll come with manifolds, intake, rails, injectors etc. It doesn't knock, smoke, nada.

Patrick at LMR has a low mileage LS1 out of his 01 Camaro for about what he is willing to spend also.

cant u make those 5.3's to 5.7's? get the correct bore and stroke and u have an ls1? is the block cast iron or aluminum?
dont know if they have the same bore or stroke...im guessing they dont....

Yeah alot of people do bore the 5.3 out to a 5.7, but it is an iron block.

I have it listed locally and I currently have a deal pending. Sorry guys.

yeah thats what i was gonna do when the starter ear on my ls1 broke off....get a 5.3 and bore it out to 5.7..but thats a good deal on the engine u have pending....
a iron 5.7 will be nice, dont see too many around
