1994 Firehawk car #196
Black with black leather
Automatic 95,006 miles
Engine:
Jet-Hot long tube headers and ORY ($800)
Billet 1.6 Roller Rockers with Chromoly pushrods and GM guidplates. ($300)
NGK Iridium spark plugs ($65)
Hypertech 160* thermostat. ($25)
K&N air filter for the Ram Air. ($60)
Stage 8 locking header bolts. ($50)
Transmission:
Stock 4l60e that was COMPLETELY rebuilt at 87,000 so it has only 7,000 miles on it and shifts nice and firm. Rebuild was $2,200 and I have the receipts (was done before I bought the car). Also has an Energy Suspension Tranny mount ($30).
Rear-end:
Stock 3.23 rear-end with stock suspension.
Wheels and Tires:
Remanufacturing of the original ROH wheels ($500)
Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval's 275/40/17 ($660 + $100 for mounting and balancing)
This car is very very clean inside and out. I've taken care of this car like it was a 50,000 dollar car. It just needs to go I'm almost done with my other car and can't keep both. It has the rare SLP TOTL exhaust that SLP gave the Firehawks along with the functional Ram Air hood. Basically to sum up this car...you get a rare car in great shape but with a little extra horsepower with the longtubes and roller rockers. There is NOTHING mechanically wrong with this car. It runs and drives perfectly, no knocks, weird noises, absolutely nothing wrong. This car is perfect when it comes to driving and what not. Steering is very nice and tight. Drives straight as an arrow. The only things I can honestly think of wrong with the car is the occasional paint chip here and there. None of which are bigger than 1/8 of an inch or so. You literately have to wash the car to notice these. There is one spot you can see in the pics on the front bumper that looks kind of like a smudge. The front bumper has some very minor spider cracking but you have to be like 1 foot away to see it.
Guys overall this car is in awesome shape and I've spent a good amount of money keeping it that way. This car did not have a TOTL when I bought it and it took me over a year to find one. The Rims were not in good shape when I bought it but I've had them fixed and they look brand new. It didn't have any tires either and now has the Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval's 275/40/17 all the way around. These tires are about $760 mounted and balanced. I myself have spent almost $3,000 to make this car as close to perfect as I can. If you count the tranny this car has had over $5,000 put into it in the last 2 years. I don't know how else to say it but this is an extremely clean car and whoever buys it will be glad they did. Here are some pics.
$7,200

Eh...the cubs released me so I'm in the process of trying to sign with another team. I didn't really think the release was all that fair there were lots of other pitchers who did alot worse than me this year and they're still around. But just gotta keep moving foward.
See if you know anyone who would be interested in this car. Surely someone you know loved it when you had it. Now it's a stronger car with the same great looks.

Update: The original ROH Firehawk rims can be included in the sale of the car. They are being fixed and will include tires. Price with perfect Firehawk rims-$9,000. Oh and you can still bring your own set of wheels if you want and we can adjust the price some.

Haha gross. (Peter Griffin's voice). Yeah if you hadn't said that I'd never have know. There's not an ounce of evidence that would ever make someone think that. This car is in great shape. I treat it as if it's a vette. I just hope someone out there will appreciate the condition this car is in and buy it. If you couldn't see the mileage...there is absolutely no way you would ever guess it has 94k. It feels better than other F-bod's I've been in with far fewer miles.

I have to vouch for the condition of this Hawk. I bought a TA Hatch from Zach on Sunday and checked the car out. Clean is an understatement....Pristine is the correct word! Bump for the cleanest Hawk I've ever seen and a A1 seller to boot!!
