When I bought the car 1 April 2010 (NO JOKE), it had a very bad wobble at 60+ mph. After a large and long search for the culprit, the front tires were changed from 255's to 275's, and an alignment was done. There is a small interior piece that goes over the drivers side seat belt and part of the door seal, it cost 60 bucks at the dealership and will be replaced within the next week if the car isn't sold. As well as the original brakes were still on the car. So I replaced them with the zinc coated rotors and carbin ceramic pads. In the 2nd week I had the car the steering column locked up and I had to have it towed to the dealership (Classic Chevrolet of Grapevine, TX) at my cost, to have the recall done on it. And while it was there they did a seat belt recall done as well. I work at The Airport Valet.com, and we have a fantastic car wash team. In the 2 1/2 years that I've worked there and the 3 cars that I've had, they are the only ones that I will let wash and wax my car(s). In the couple weeks I've had this they have washed and waxed it twice. Looks amazing.
The reason that I am selling this car so soon after I got it is that I am in the Texas Army National Guard, and I just found out that I was completely approved for OCS starting 15 June, and gone for training till Dec. And after that I will be deployable and there is a good likely hood that I will get shipped very soon after that. And to be completely blunt, I think this is a little to nice of a car for me at this point, I'm afraid to mod it like I had originally planned. So I want to get a 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird and have some fun.
The bad:
Front tires don't match, but are the same size and have over 75% tread left.
Interior piece on drivers door.
Small scratches on both sides of the hood (don't know what from, there when I bought the car).
Targa Top flew off at 70 mph, it didn't break at all. Just a couple of scratches, my original plan was to cover the top in black vinyl to give it a two tone look, so I can still do that. I already paid for it and the install, so I can/will still do that unless the car sells before.
Please feel free to call anytime from 6am-11pm Monday-Friday, and 10am-10pm Saturday & Sunday. I can send MMS no problem. I have my phone with me at all times and prefer texts. 817.680.8972
Soliciting to this phone number is a federal offense. My dad owns a telemarketing call center and will help me file a federal complaint if you call me asking me to pay you to sell my car, and don't like the low ballers of 8-10K...
