WTB: LS6 shortblock

Im looking to get a LS6 shortblock or a LS6 block with the internals...let me know what you got!!!!

I don't think there is a difference from a ls6 and a ls1 shortblock is basically the heads that r different , well that's what I think so hopefully someone who knows will come in and say something lol

^^^^ He's right. The only thing thats different is the heads, cam, intake. The block isn't different. Keeping you forged is better.

No he isn't. There are actually several differences in the LS1 and LS6 blocks. There is an oil crossover just above the #5 cam bore on the LS6 block, the bay-bay windows are different, and there isn't a casting in the way in the "lifter valley" to get in the way of a LS6 PCV system.

I have an iron block that was a 5.3 truck ported to a 5.7 and also with the alternator already tapped. I have the crank with it as well was going to be a project but never got around to it. 300 bucks come get it

I have a 48k LS6 shortblock that dropped a valve. The block has a cracked sleeve but the internals are good aside from one piston. It is still assembled on the stand can get pics, shoot me a PM if interested. Have a number of other parts off the same motor also.
