I'm posting this thread to see if there is any interest in someone buying my motor from me. I've been giving it a lot of thought and decided I want to go with a procharger. With my current compression (11:1), I don't think I will be able to throw as much boost at it as I'd like. My motor currently has 15k miles on it, and is very streetable. I had G-Force in Pearland order it from HKE and install it back in late 2008, I know they can vouch for me on this one. I'd like to sell it outright as a complete longblock, but I may be interested in trades for something with lower compression. Here is a basic rundown of what will be included:
HKE 408ci iron block (6.0L)
-Wiesco Pistons
-Eagle Rods
-Eagle Crank
-TEA 5.3 stg 1.5 ported/polished heads
-240/244 .605 .610 113+3 lsa cam
-Fast 92 intake
-Fast 92 throttle body
-42# greentop injectors
-85 mm z06 maf
-UPD 92 mm lid w/k&n filter
Motor dyno video: http://www.streetfire.net/video/gfor...aro_444908.htm
Nitrous dyno video: http://www.streetfire.net/video/gfor...hot_688583.htm
This setup put down 512 rwhp and 502 rwtq through a 6 speed when I had a smaller maf and lid (stock ls1 maf and an MTI lid). Throw some Trickflow 235's on it and a bigger cam and you will have yourself 550rwhp. I just didn't have the extra money at the time when I bought this motor to do some sick heads so I had the heads off my ls1 completely re-done. I've had nitrous (150 shot) on the car earlier last year and sprayed it maybe a dozen times on the street, TOPS. It made 621rwhp and 672 rwtq on a 150 shot through a single nozzle on a very conservative tune. There is no longer nitrous on the motor. With the right setup (direct port, good tune, etc..) this motor could easily handle a 250 shot. I have ALL reciepts for everything on the motor and can say it has just barely been broken in and has a lot of life left in it. I'm not sure how much to ask for it so please make me an offer. I have an easy $6500 invested in this setup, maybe a little more. I'd like to make the sale/trade in person if possible, but if I have to I will ship and the buyer will pay all the shipping fees. No pics but if you need um I can go out in the garage and snap a few, although the motor is still in the car. I can have it pulled out in a weekend, pm me if you're interested.
Thanks,
