Default WTB: Clutch for 400+ hp

I have a 2000 Z2/8 with an MS3 cam and bolt ons. I'm looking for a clutch that will hold 400+ hp for more than a year (like the last one I bought).

I don't know what kind I bought but the pressure plate was Pink. It was supposed to be a "centerforce" clutch, but obviously isn't, since it's not orange. I don't wanna spend an arm and a leg for the clutch since I just DD the car and never race, except from stop light to stop light occationally.

I think an LS7 clutch will hold but I'm not 100% on that. Let me know what you have.

Also I'm in Ft. Worth and don't want to have to drive to BFE to get it. Thanks.

Contact Jason at TDP. He is just north of you off 35. Do a search on Jason or TDB and you will find he is well respected and a great guy to work with. Tom

I'm on hawks 3rd gen and the LS7 clutch is $659 and the Centerforce is $418. The centerforce claims to hold 90% more than stock, which would be 570hp.

Why is the LS7 so expensive? I don't think the LS7 will hold that much power...
