Trying to get my younger brother some incentive, and I'd buy him a car if he would take care of his sh*t.
Would you allow me to take it to a dealership for an inspection?
Hard to think of things atm, @ work.

I wouldn't be able till saturday at the earliest, normally off on Fridays but they got me working. lol
I will check PM's when I get home this evening, then I can show my bro the car. I've never bought a salvaged title before, so have to research that a lil as well.
Thx Chuck

Man, I'm really thinking that IF it has a salvage title, it's a flood title. First of all, neither me nor chuck have actually SEEN the title, as we were both making payments on it to the same car lot. (I took over payments for a while, then sold it back to him). My thoughts are this: The motor has been replaced. We know this because the dealer said they swapped the motor out of a 99 SS and the fact that the motor has 853 casting heads on it backs that story up. That being said, I just think the prior dumbass that owned it drove it into some high water and hydrolocked the motor and because of the miles on the car, the ins company totalled it. Take into consideration that this is just speculation, but that's what i personally think happened.
For those looking for better pics, here's a couple that I took when I had the car:
the crack on the fender: (Charlie, you're a dumbass for doing that)
hopefully you can make out the rock chips on the front from these pics:
sail panel: (it's all fucked up, naturally)
paint coming off back bumper:
tear in passenger seat: (this is the ONLY flaw on the interior)

SLP sticker: (it's real faded and has overspray on it, but in person you can read it)
SLP upgrades:
chrome wheels
bilstein suspension package
floor mats
auburn differential
Man, it's a good car, and it's a piece of history. Some stupid **** prior to us put a metric **** ton of miles on it and overall treated it like ****, but it can be saved. It really needs to go to the right owner that appreciates it for what it is and will restore it, because that's what it needs.
