I thought the stepped headers had welds 4-5 inches down from the primary where they step up to 1-7/8ths? Seems to look that way on that link posted above also? Not busting *****, just really curious as to how you can tell these are in fact stepped.

I just posted that link to show some people that it gains some hp going from regular 1 7/8 to the race headers..... I dont even know this guy just trying to help him out.... Ill see my self once i finsih my set up and get mine in .

by the looks of his sig he has a TA so might be for a Fbod.....

I don't think these are stepped. I think he meant he upgraded to 1 7/8 headers.

Would they fit a truck cause I have heard that fbody headers fit gm trucks but not completely sure how true that is.

LOL... Thank you for the free bumps. These were on my T/A. I had a local guy that was going to buy them for his 5.3 GMC but backed out..............
