And you have ***** 26's, you need big boy tires. Oh and by the way, my car ran faster at Crandall on the 28" slicks than it did a few weeks later on the slightly under 26" drag radials at Northstar. So shorter tires didn't help at all like we talked about maybe being possible. 2 tenths slower, yes I know different tracks different conditions, but still..

why?..

As far as tires... I think the weather played more of a part in the time then the wheels did for you.

Yes the weather was a tad bit different. But I figured it would run just as fast on the smaller tire in worse conditions but it was slower. A lot of things could have come into play though like the RPM's through the traps and if they were more out of the powerband at the 1/8th mile etc etc etc... To many variables.
BTW, I put them up for sale here and then on FB. An hour after I put them on FB I had an offer and the guy is picking them up Saturday. I should have put them up for more!

I see.

Eh, my stuff sold fast because people I know saw me selling it. The car was known by the buyer and the guy that bought the wheels bought my cam setup a few weeks ago. So I just lucked out that way.

I doubt I will have any better luck than you man, the issue with yours is it is worth so much and there is only going to be a small niche market that will have the cash to buy it, since banks don't like to loan money on older cars. To sell yours you need marketing/exposure; I.E. EBAY, Cars.com.
