WTB 243 heads

I am looking to upgrade from my 853 heads. Ported would be goo but stock are fine too.

I found some off of a 2008 5.3 for $400. Would these be a great improvement If I get them ported?

I think you will need stock LS1 2" intake valves btw... I doubt the stock truck ones will work..

haha....small world. I really like the car. It should be a beast some day. I got a hold of the previous owner to get the cam specs...that same day I broke a valve spring and the intake sprung a quarter size hole. Got that all fixed and I figure Ill but some good flowing heads to go with the cam...should pick up some power. Then Ill be shopping for a rear end haha...
