That's awesome to hear. I brought my car home today. I have a few things I need to work out on the car before I take the big jump to a turbo build.. But thats not going to take to long I already have one ready to go in my car.

Cleaned the seats and carpet with a carpet cleaner..these cloth seats sure get dusty when you drive with the windows down all the time..and then had the dreaded stripped headlight gear later on in the day, so did the quick fix of unbolting the headlight arm and rotsting the plastic gear 180 degrees and putting it back together, no more grind for now.

Nice start to a great build! Did the same back in 09 and man was it a ton of fun. Suspension upgrades are incredible! Still don't know if it was a good or bad decision based on my Firehawk car #005 for the year 2000. Our cars made the top 10 list of Pontiacs to buy today and never drive again.. But, hey mine I will not sell and will have till I die.. Currently, my car sits on the driveway with the engine removed from the bottom. 2nd time to do this and too dang cold in Liberty Hill Texas to really do anything today

Your car being a Special Edition also makes it a top car to keep & hold onto.. To answer your question on replacing the passenger side spark plugs. Yes, you have to remove the starter. Once your headers are installed, you can access the passenger side header bolts and spark plugs ( 2, 4, & 6 ) from the top.. Sometimes easier with the SLP Modified spark plug socket and open ended wrench. # 8 will always have to be from the bottom with the starter removed.

The fun I'm dealing with is the heater/ evap core bottom cover.. Mine first broke with a cylinder head, cam replacement on my original LS1. Fiber Glassed it, and then when pulling the engine this time, broke the fiberglass again. I found a replacement for $250 (new) which I have on order.. This is something I have to replace with the engine out.

Keep the pics coming! I'm thinking of posting pics of my current project but my upgrades are not nearly as pretty as they once were.

Here I go again waiting on parts and curious if they are going to do the trick. I actually started my build in 2007 with all the latest and greatest tech.. Did not ever think ABear Valve Covers would go out of business. Specifically what I am waiting on are ICT Billet Valve Cover Bolts, grommets and guides to hopefully fit snug within the bolt area and hope to not need bearing grease to seal. Time will tell.

UMI K-Member, Lower & Upper A Arms, QA1 Shocks, Medium duty front springs

ABear Valve Cover, Texas Speed & Performance 247 Cylinder Head before lower collars cut off.. Those extra collars along the bottom made it hell to change # 8 spark plug and torque the last manifold bolts.

Re-foamed the sail or back side panel speakers with new foam. Was a lot cheaper than buying new speakers and still keep the original setlup. Never the best sound, but the factory was OK. And that is all I want.
