F-Body Big Brake Upgrade Kit - 1998-2002 Camaro or Firebird I'm selling a new Stainless Steel Brake Company brake upgrade kit for almost 40% off retail. I'm asking $700 cash or Paypal. I can even invoice you so you may be able to use the Paypal 0% interest deals they sometimes offer. I prefer a local sale in the Houston Metroplex area, but since I'm unemployed, I could deliver them for a fee which shall be negotiated.
This kit requires you have 17" or larger diameter wheels. Please check their site for more information on fitment. This kit changes your setup so you can use C5 Corvette Rotors, which there is a much better selection of high performance rotors, and they are larger than the factory F-body rotors, thus providing improved stopping power. It also means you won't have any problems finding various OEM rotors since the C5 parts are readily available. This is a simple bolt on kit, no fabrication required. You can download the installation instruction on their website to see what's required if you like.
It's great to make your car faster, but don't forget, you will need to make it stop faster too! Stopping from those high speeds can cause dangerous brake fade. Avoid that and upgrade yours with this kit!
The base kit retails at $885 that includes the red powder coated caliper upgrade as well as the Big Bite Crossed Drilled/Slotted rotors. It comes complete with front and rear performance pads.
It also comes with the Big Bite Cross Drilled & Sloted rotors for the rear. Which would cost @ $232.32 at their current price.
