1999 Silverado 1500 ~ 143K miles
Engine has good oil pressure and runs smooth. Trans is good too, as are the tires/wheels, doors, and tailgate. The truck has been stored indoors for the last four years, I drive it around the block about every other month.

It would make a reliable beater with a windshield, right front fender, and a little work. The hinges on the pass door need to be bent back. The door latches, but I’m pretty sure it would leak if left outdoors. The frame is bent at the rear from a collision but it doesn’t seem to effect drivability. It was driven quite a bit after that collision.

Or use it for parts.

The truck is in Onalaska, about 70 miles north of Houston. I’ll be there this weekend. You can drive it home... I’d trailer it. It’s been quite a while since it’s seen daily use.

Knocked the dirt off this morning and took it for a spin. No trailer needed, you can drive this truck home. I filled the AC system with refrigerant Saturday and it worked great, but by Sunday evening the compressor wouldn’t come on so I’m assuming it leaked out already.
