It's hard to sell a car when you just tell people what it will take to get it running. Nobody actually knows that if they bolt the exhaust on they will have a running and driving car. Buying your car as is will be based on your word saying that it runs, and that's a big chance.
I'm not trying to be a dick, just trying to give you some insight on people's comments and stuff. My advice is to take the time or spend the money to get it running and driving and it will sell much, much faster.
I had a Jeep that I was trying to sell and the oil pressure sending unit went out, so the oil pressure did not read. The guy that was looking at it had no way of knowing it was the sending unit, just based on my word. Needless to say he didn't buy it because it could have been a serious problem seeing that the oil pressure was at 0. I spent the money and time to fix it, and it made it much easier to sell.

i see wht ur saying and i know wht my car needs cuz i never took my car to any shop besides nelson performance just to pin point the problem.. and wht is was is put the exhaust back on,new 02 sensors,change spark plugs, tune.. the thing is i dont have time to work on it.. if i had the time trust i wouldnt sell it only the fact that i worked on this car and put everything on this car by hand.. she's never been to any shop just to get advice on whats wrong with it.. i know to some ppl its a bind to put them in to buy it in its condition but if u wanna come see it ur more then welcome to.. its a decent 98 z28 i know it worth way more then $11,000. ive seen the cars that ppl try and sell for that price and i appreciate ur advice man if she doesnt sell, i might just have to give her in to a dealership to get the car thats more comfortable for my lil gurl!! thnks guys n god bless..

thats the reason why im selling it a decent price.. i know that in the condition its in if its running i could sell it for more but thats why its at the price its all.. its a good deal.. in my opinion of course.. thnks guys again..
