Default Business owners

Anyone here own a small (or large) business?

IF so what do you do and how is business?

I own a technology company that specializes in enterprise systems management and a high-end landscape design and installation company.

I know it’s an odd mix, long story.

Things are going pretty well so far, but I am concerned about changes that could be in the future.

I am a web developer, and it has been slower than usual. That is to be expected though! I have even spoken with many other business owners - they all say it is slow too for the most part. People just don't want to spend right now. That means as business owners, we get the exciting chance of getting creative again in how we bring in clients Exciting times!

Store owner here. Right after Ike I opened up and have a 300% increase in business for obvious reasons. A few weeks after it settled down but I'm doing a couple hundred daily than I was doing last year. I'm afraid now towards the end of the year and with this stock market bs going on it's probably going to drop back to where I was last year. The only thing that Ike helped me with but it's not a blessing that had me at a loss as well.

property taxes on a businees how much do they come out to? and what size is the business? the property taxes in texas are high compared to cali..even the house taxes, my parents need to pay 9k in taxes for our house!! ridiculous i think, and also because its a new community and just on the other side off the 35freeway i heard they aint as expensive as where i live...my father and i plan to open abody shop business when he moves down here from cali, so thats why im asking about business taxes, wondering if there high like the house or less..

I own my own contracting business. I do all types of home improvement, but often my higher paying jobs i subcontract from commercial contractors. (Mostly
doors and painting) Work has been paycheck to paycheck until i recently started to tithe my income with church and charity. I had no motive other than understanding God owns everything and that christians are supposed to give back to God 10%. I now have more work than i know what to do with ! Praise God !
