Default Hello Game 6...red Sox Won

Easily one of the best games I've seen in a long time. Rays had the lead of 7-0 in the 7th, and the sox came back and won it in the 9th.

The Rays threw that game away. That was pitiful.

Just one reason to remind me why I love baseball. Top of the 7th the Rays score 2 and the seats start to empty in Fenway. Boy I bet they were pissed as they are sitting in the parking lot as Ortiz cracks a 3 run shot.

Ha Ha, I've heard people like you quite a bit within the last couple of years. 2004 and 2007 ring a bell? 3-0 vs Yanks, and 3-1 vs Indians.

Why is that?? because we actually have a fan base who gives a fck no matter if the team sucks or wins, and doesnt leave in the sevent innning just to avoid traffic. Or is it the fact that we actually know how to run a minor league system and have good scouts, and we dont fire our GM's for stupid **** who are not forced too squeeze penies... or maybe because we actually trade for players who impact the team not just gamble on washed up players and hope they make an impact. Or is it the Big Payroll because in Boston they actually wanna spend money to make money not, hype **** up and players to make money. Last time i noticed the Astros have **** for a pitching staff excluding Oswalt, they have no fucken prospects that they can trade for Good players...(Pence was a Hunsiker era prospect)..The owner is a cheap ****, and the general fan base (not the hardcore) are about as loyal to the team as a negglected Rottwiler to its owner. I was an Astros fan once and then I grew up,..literally lol

here's to Another shitty season by the Astros because the owner is a delusional cheap **** who expects too compete in the national league with his medocre pitching staff and his subpar offense..wake the **** up Draighton the National league is fast becoming an actual challenge to the American league in the level and quality of play. And you Draighton M. wanna sit back and offer pennies on the dollar to your draft picks and expect to compete. YEs Florida, Tampa, Arizona and Colorado dont have big payrolls but they actually Sign and pay up to there draft picks, something Draighton refuses to wake up too. And here's to J.Peavy being the next Ace in the Red Sox rotation if we dont win the World Series, because We actually have the prospects to trade for Star players and wanna spend money to sign them need be.

If you're cheering for the under dog you got the wrong team. Boston is in a do-or-die situation for a reason. That reason being...... Tampa Bay is a better team.

Yeah it does, they came back and won right???

New year, new team, new challenge. I would put money on this series in a heart beat. Tampa bay is way too hot right now. I dont give a damn about the past, it's a different year bud... The Rays are goin to the world series. And if they don't, that sux....

In case you weren't watching the alcs, your precious little boston fans were shown leaving in the 7th inning... so there goes that argument hahaha.

Oh and when did brian say anything about the astros? This isn't about the astros. Maybe he, just like me, just doesn't like the red sux. Whoops i mean *red sox.

I honestly have no idea why he quoted my post in his response. It seriously has no relevance.

I honestly don't want the red sox in the world series because I want to see someone different. Gettin tired of the usual sox and Yankees BS. Not to mention I can't stand David Ortiz

We don't like the Red Sox because their douche bag fans like to type an essay in the team's defense every time they think their precious Sox are not getting the respect they somehow "deserve".

I wonder how many Red Sox's fans were listening in the parking lot the other night when Ortiz knocked that 3 run dong in the BOTTOM OF THE 7th INNING.

And BTW- The Astros finished 3 games back from the wild card... how many of those "home" games did they lose to the Cubs due to Ike?

New Team, Same Challenge. 3 game defecit in a series. 3-0 vs NY or 3-1 vs Cle. When you have a coaching staff and a quite a few players familiar with the situation, it's called experience that makes a big difference. It doesn't suck if the Rays don't go to the World Series. It means they couldn't close out the series just like the Yanks and Indians...therefore, they suck.

I'm not a baseball fan but I do watch the playoffs, and only reason I cheer on the red sox is I hate the yankees

I hope they pull off another comeback tomorrow
