Default What is on Houston roads
Man I was going to Houston Thursday to pick up a car during the rain/not rain/mist/not mist blah blah. When I got home and went to wash the truck and trailer and there is this nasty mud all over them that sticks like tar. It really looks like mud and feels gritty like mud/sand but is a pai to get off.

What is on the roads down there and how do I get it off, after 2 hours on the trailer and 2 on the truck they still aren't completely clean.

There's that big construction zone in New Caney and the roads are filthy as hell. that's probably where you picked it up, not sure what it is though

Strangest tar I have ever seen, it honestly is like sticky muddy sand. It stuck to everything it touched and my pressure washer wouldn't budge it but lots of scrubbing helped.

Definitely avoid those roads that have the black tar marks all over them. When it rains it gets on everything and is a bitch to wash off.

WD-40 or some gas will take it off..then just put some wax over the areas you used that stuff on...what i always did to my white dually, fenders were always nasty like that if i went through construction
