SAM enrollment... Been trying to contact the school all day and its always busy
....hopefully Bigbronco will see this and be able to give me good answer...im looking to enroll around December and I was wondering if theres a enrollment period around there or if I need to enroll in November, I have the info packet and I don't see any for December...Is Nov. 6 the last chance I have this year to enroll?
Like I said I have all the info here but i wanted to talk to a real person but apparently they are busy over there today...so if anyone knows anything please chime in...Thanks!

yea i have a tour setup for next wed so im excited about that...check the place out and everything...i wanted to start soon but it looks like im gonna have to wait till January so that im not pressed as far as moving in and ****...

how'd the tour go man?, mine is tomorrow at 1:30....looking forward to it!!...
also do a lot of the shops in the Houston area hire out of SAM?...ie LMR,G-Force, etc.....I'm hoping that after SAM i can get on at one of the shops in Houston...

Not really sure about the Houston shops, the tour went really well. I've got everything ready to start in February, when are you planning on starting??

I wanted to start in Nov. but i don't want to be rushed to move all my stuff and find a place to stay. I'm gonna be starting on Jan. 8th, dude im ready to do this already, i've been wanting to go for a few years now and i've just now found the time to make it happen
I'll def update when i get back tomorrow, the place looks awesome online and from what i've seen in pictures so im excited about seeing it in person.
I worked at a machine shop for awile when i was in my hometown, ran a lot of HAAS machines as well as Milltronics, so im no stranger to machining, i've just never done the automotive side of it.

well i went in today for my tour and to take care of some more paperwork....all i have to say is that place is the ****!...lots of good ppl working there and Judson was a badass. I know for a fact that i'm gonna feel right at home in that place, took my dad along since i knew he'd enjoy it and he was very impressed...def looking forward to moving up there and getting started....I swear to god though, a lowered car with 3in duals on Antoine...SUCKS!

after financial aid and everything my final out of pocket expense is gonna be like 200 a month which is awesome....now I just need to find a place to live and get used to Houston traffic and drivers

its not just anotine its all of Houston I goto sam as well and have a 3/4 drop for my truck sitting in my closet that wont be going in anytime soon. I cant say anything but great things about the school I started in sept and think im doing pretty good and this is by far the best decision I could have made as far as education goes. I swear the F-bod has to become the official car of S.A.M. looks like i need to find another one..
