Default Silva vs. Cote - your thoughts?

I have been hearing that LOTS of people (including Cote) are saying that he was in Silva's head, that Silva couldn't find his rhythm, etc.

My thoughts: Are you kidding me?

Silva was dancing, goofily switching stances, walking/jogging, offering helping him up, walking away when he fell instead of jumping on him. To me, it was clear he was just trying to put on a show for the crowds in a fight that otherwise wouldn't have lasted more than 35 seconds. I don't think he was even sweating. Between rounds, he was standing up as if he was just talking with some friends in a cluster at a party.

The rest of the middleweight division is shallow and weak & Silva knows it. He knew that it would be like sparring with a whitebelt.

yeah, Silva was pretty much just toying with Cote.....in my opinion, he should have ended the night for Cote near the end of round 2.

i never had any doubts that Silva was going to win it, but it sucks the way he won it this time......i wanted to see him pulverize someone again, Rich Franklin-style.....

i just read that silva actually was planning on a 5 round fight and was going to look for the knockout in rounds 4 or 5. that makes sense now. the funny thing about it is that cote was interviewed and said he thought he got in his head and messed him up really bad.

HAHAHAHAAHHA

It was not a split, it was unanimous, alves beat the **** out of Kos. I wouldn't be surprised if kos still can't walk.

Silva could have put Cote away anytime he wanted to; the couple of times he pressed he rocked Cote silly. Even my wife said it looked like a cat playing with a mouse! And I have to give Koscheck props for taking the fight on short notice especially considering Alves destroyed Matt Hughes.
I'm wondering if Silva is going to be on the fight card for December; the rumor was if he came thru the Cote fight with little or no damage he was going to fight on the UFC 92 card?!

silva isnt going to even be tested by anyone in the 185 division, i mean he murdered irvin in 1 min and that was in the 205 division and a lot of people dont know that silva trains at roughly 215 so he is just a badass for cutting all that weight and untill he decides to move up to 205 he wont even be tested. and the brock coture fight may or may not be the biggest mistake in cotures career but god i hope he murders brock

I heard that dana white is trying to do a super fight GSP vs Silva. I think if anyone has a chance it's GSP.
As far as heavy weight I don't think anybody as of right now in the world can beat Fedor.
he makes it look too easy.
Silva is ranked number 1 in the world fedor is at 2 but thats LB for LB they say that for a reason. I gotta give them thumbs up those Russians can fight. Even in boxing all three heavyweight titles are held by Russians, must be something in the water/steroids.

If Frank Mir can weather a Brock storm then Randy could I would think.

I dont see anyone beating Silva in the near future, bottomline.

Alves has already been suspended for failed DT's in the past so I doubt hes on roids, but damn that dude has bulked up in the past year.

Fedor = Bad MF

Thats all I know.
