just a immature 10 pointer came out this morning...the big guy did not. i will be looking for him Sat and Sun morning. My neighbor is an avid hunter and thinks this deer will score 160's, so we will see, maybe.

We didnt see ****!!! Well, 1 got a pig and another got a spike but that was all we saw ALL weekend. It didnt help that there was a front moving in and there were 10+mph winds all weekend. Foiled. I need to shoot a deer sooooooooo bad.

Some good lookin pigs. Yea the full moon moving in didnt help us at all either. Unfortunately I am not going back out till the last weekend of the season in January so dropping a deer will have to wait till then.

I got this aoudad on saterday!! It was a good 60 yard shot with my crossbow and NO range finder. I estimated the yardage pretty good. I guess it was a lucky estimation. Anyways, Check it out!!!!

Nice, where did you get him? I had a chance to get on a lease outside Of Leakey where these guys roamed, but fell through.

Nah, not going to mount it, Its an average size one. I do have one that is shoulder mounted and that one weighed in field dressed at 250lbs., now that one was huge. ...But my buddy that went with me took the head of this one and I think he's gonna do a european mount.

...I know there are others out there that have pictures of their kills, c'mon and post em'. I will be going back out there on thurseday, so hopefully I have another one to post then!!!

By the way, 02txceta, the meat on these taste better than deer meat, at least to me it does, I have been eating these for the past 13 years and absolutely love it. Deer meat is good too, but not as good as aoudad meat.

I hunt in Val Verde county and never seen a Auodad. I did kill a turkey this weekend but thats it. Saw a nice 10 he had 8 points with 2 stickers on his G-2's. Not wide at all though. He was a very young buck so didnt take him. I will post pics of the 14-point my dad shot though this past weekend. This buck is a cull buck. Pretty old and small rack just had points coming out everywhere.

What part of Val Verde county are you hunting in? Its a pretty big *** county. But yeah, theres **** loads of rio grande turkey around here too. Not to mention Mule Deer and mouflons also roam freely. Overall, its great hunting!!!

We hunt about 40 miles south of Sonora. It is a big county, but I havent seen any exotics running around out there yet. There are sheds we find but never seen of the animals.
