Clayton did do well. His last run against Javier was nice. He is a great guy that has a damn nice ride that should run ***** to the wall w/what he has planned. Can't count Javier out though. He held his own against a 408 f-body in a heads/cam LS2 GTO. Gotta admit, thats some damn good driving on his part.
I got to run Clayton before the track closed. I was pleasantly suprised. Personally, I'd love to rematch Clayton next month when I have soft tires. I know it wasn't his best run of the day, had it been there would have been a .2 sec difference, but I ran on Nitto 555R's and left off the idle. I got the quicker ET, but he got to the end of the track quicker. Gotta love being able to launch like he did. I think both of us on stickies would be a good match.

Buck mopped up on the other grudge match. I think nerves were getting to the Civic driver though. That thing had some good MPH and will be a force to reckon with when he gets it dialed in.

Omar and Donnie dominated the bracket racing.

I had fun and hope everyone else did too.

that civic is installing his LSD this week or next i think. Definitly can back half, want to see it run in the 1/4.

Saw some good runs today, first day out with the new car and cut a 7.8 @ 93mph best time for the car was 7.75@94

 

nice nice! i need to get my car to land, i'm going to do some homework while i'm gone to buy some little things to get the car to plant. the very last run i felt the tires spin midway down the track with the tires at 15 pounds. no fun having to lift off and get back on it. trapped between 98-95mph and was running between 7.89's-8.29's

oh and the rear end still hasn't snapped lol the last run i left at 3k with ET Streets lol fun times. and i also maxed out the 2bar MAP sensor with the stock block..... the car is a ticking time bomb

 

so the locktight + cranking on it with a cheater bar+ 3 and a half hours cure time did the trick, but it still wasnt pretty at the track, left at 1200rpm @20psi in the radials spun in 1st and went 8.206 @ 93.8mph with a 2.3 60ft at kennendale. 2nd pass i tried launching at 2500 on the other side of the track and just spun

 

Sounds like you're having the same Nitto issues as me. My best ETs have been leaving off idle with them.

 

best pass i have made in it so far is a 7.44@96 with a 1.71 60' still not leaving like i should... gonna change a few things up this week and its going back on the dyno tomorrow for the nitrous...... i love 650+rwhp haha now if i can just drive it lol...

Hey when are you guys gonna quit dicking around and put some Mickey Thompson Drag radials or slicks on. All of you guys have too much power runnin on Nittos Get you some welds 15 inch rims and throw a tire on there with more sidewall.

 

I'm not running Welds. My car is daily driven and I will not grind on my calipers.

I've got a soft tire aquisition in the works. I tried to get them before Sun, but it just didn't pan out. However, if you care to donate a set I'll take them in 26x10.5x16

 

335/35/17 hoosier drag radials..... i just cant shock the tire.... but i do have slicks just havent been out on them... no where to put them in the car driving out there.. hard to wedge in slicks into the cage

Dont waste your time with ET Streets MT they sucked go with slicks or drag radials. My old motor on 125 shot with ET Streets best 60' was a 2.04 at a 7.90 at 95mph
