i don't agree with you what so ever.

UT and OU both are clearly more deserving than USC.

werd, beat me too it

Well, its a moot point anyway. Whoever represents the South in the ccg will likely blow out their opponent. I mean, come-on....Missouri is the best team the North has and EVERYONE (who is anyone) from the South has already tapped that *** at least once. Who ever wins the South will probably wind up in the NC game, period. No if, ands or buts.

Missouri has a good chance of upsetting Texas, TTU or OU in the Big 12 game.

You must not watch much college football.

plus, OU and Tech didn't play Mizzou this season....

if they come to play, they still have a great offense that can go blow for blow with anybody in the south :o

I think OU can hold TTU to around 35.
based on the fact that OU is 56th in scoring D and 90th in passing D?

At this point, I'm kinda hoping Tech wins out, Texas wins out. Tech would then face Florida in NCG (which would be awesome game, imo) and Texas gets BCS with Utah or Bama

I would think that the average defense Tech has faced is gonna be worse than 56th in scoring D. The only reason I replied was cause it seemed you were saying no one can hold Tech under their average, which is silly.... "no team can hold down this offense"

We got 12 days to pontificate over TTU/OU and then debate the various scenarios that will stem from the game.

OU is a no show for bowl games.

Finishing the season with a win > getting embarrassed on national TV at the end of every season

Thats funny, I don't remember losing EVERY season in a bowl game. Seems like we won a national championship in 2000 against the defending national champion Florida State and also won the Rose bowl in 2002, Holiday bowl in 2005. Oh, thats right, I must be dreaming, since I don't watch much college football. When did you start watching college football, 2006?

You OU people sure can dish it out but can't take it, that's tight. And I started watching college football in 2003.

Choking against USC, WVU and Boise State on national TV is worse.

Yall still have to win out against the 2nd and 3rd hardest teams on your schedule. Please keep running your mouth

If you say so...

I kinda like Conference titles as a measuring stick, but if Mack Brown was my coach, I'd probably use Holiday Bowl wins as my bragging point, too.

Would just be too painful to think about how he has one (1) of them in about two decades of coaching....but hey, another VY will come along in 15-20 years, right?

I like 10 win seasons and winning bowl games as a measuring stick. Whatever makes you feel better about being a Sooner.

No shame in being a Sooner fan. I'll match the OU program up against UTs over the last 10 years, 20 years, 30 years, 40 years, 50 years and be proud of the superiority of results.

Of course 'horn fans who only jumped on the bandwagon during the VY era wouldn't know about all that domination...

But I should make this clear...during the 100 year domination of OUs program over UT, we are definitely is a 3-4 year period where UT has better results. So OU has only been superior 96% of the time...another moral victory for Mack and his nutswingers.

100 year domination? Well, we could just go the common sense route and use the Red River Shootout as the measuring stick.

Good point.

We lead the UT vs. OU series 58-40-5 and my school is tied for 2nd most wins by any football program.

From 1958-1970 OU beat UT once.

From 1976-1984 OU beat UT twice.

From 1989-1999 OU beat UT twice.

Then we won 3 of the last 4.

Domination goes both ways.
