I was planning on going to this game early in the season....then the let down season went into full swing with losses to ASU, KSU, and then the great game at OU last week. I decided to ignore the remaining games for the season...texas should be favored by ~25, we'll see what happens.

mmiller, find it a little more comfortable over on aggiefans?

Jon, actually I never go Aggie websites. I have no desire to that. Where I see the things I was talking about are from quotes from those sites that are posted on Longhorn boards.

! thing that bugs me about going to a&m is all the people that cant wait a few years for a coach to get rolling. Fran was a joke, sherman might be also, but his offense is somethine that we just are not set up for. The last recruiting class was mainly a bunch of guys to keep the option going, not a spread or pro style offense. No to sherman and why i dont like a&m for this. Some of the people here and the alums are tards, they cant give a coach a few years to come around. Look at leach up there at the undefeated tech (shocked), his team didnt start to produce untill the past few seasons. The difference is tech didnt kick him out they gave him some time to cycle through some 4 year people, and get his offense rolling. I think if we give sherman enough time to get some o line men, and some other players to fit to his style we will get things turned around and possible be ranked again sometime in the future. Now for the d cordinator kines, no excuses our players arnt that bad to get blown out every game. If your supposed to be the awsome d cordinator, then you should know enough about the game to make some slight modifications to your defense so maybe we can keep the scores lower.

whether or not sherman was a good hire...i hope they let him stick around and setup his offense...I think that can be a powerful hand in any game...and then maybe we can recruit a damn linebacker or two....

who knows, I'm going to the basketball game :-)

per rivals we have 6 LB's in this next recruiting class that have verbally committed to us...looks like we are giving a strong defensive emphasis to this class, with some light offensive positions in there.

fixing to leave to the game as well...

Just kinda how it goes, i'm not crying for much right now, we had dominique kirk, DJ, & Joseph Jones leave last year. JJ was speculated to be a 1st rounder last year and DJ as well...so that bumped our preseason rating last year. This year has too many question marks...but at least we have have a true PG again.

Elonu looked good in todays game, hopefully he keeps it up...davis and elonu will be very good on defense, as well as carter will be nice to have nailin 3's during the games.

Subject: custody

A seven-year old boy was at the center of a Dallas courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Texas A&M Aggies, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.
