Thumbs up Viper makeover in progress

I got tired of cleaning the white CCW wheels, so I ordered a set of iForged Astra 19"/20" wheels to replace them. I also got rid of the blue leather steering wheel and parking brake handle today, replaced them with black pieces. Next week the more aggressive 2008 Viper hood goes on the car.

Looks good with the new wheels. I like the Astras MUCH more. I liked the blue interior pieces personally but black doesn't look bad.

My new wheels showed up this week. They are iForged "Astra" in 19/20 with brushed centers and polished lips. Tires are Nitto Invo in 285-19 fronts, 345-20 rears. Today I also replaced all the blue interior parts with black parts. Next week the '08 hood goes on.
Are you echoing yourself?

Never was big on the white CCWs. These look MUCH better.

Yes, thanks to copy/paste errors!

The white wheels were definitely a polarizing choice, people either loved them or hated them. I did that for Power Tour, it attracted a ton of attention with those wheels while in the Nitto Tire booth. They are a bitch to keep clean though.

I could see how the whites would be a bitch to clean all the time, but I love the way they looked on your Viper.

Looks MUCH better, you've got to best of both worlds.... I have been looking at vipers for a little while but am still pulled to a Z06 for modding reasons. Vettes just don't have the head turning factor a viper does.

Looking at 5-6 weeks delivery time on those. I'm now an HRE dealer, so I went that route on the Z06. 19/20 HRE 893R with cyber gray color matched face and lips, silver pinstripe. I like the stealth/dark look of this Z06 with the dark wheels.

Those white wheels were a mega bitch to keep clean. Ask BigBronco, he was my wheel cleaning jockey during the 3,500 mile of Power Tour. Those inner barrels were so fun to keep white, haha. I basically had to wipe them down every single time I drove the car, to keep dust from sticking.

Chris, get a Viper. Yes, I know you can mod a Z06 blindfolded, and they like mods. But, Vipers also like mods too. Your advantage is that you can work on them yourself, most Viper owners cannot. I'd have gotten into some serious trouble in my 20s with a Viper, they really do attract 100000x more attention than any Corvette. Ask Gray about that too, haha.

Those HRE's will look good. Doesn't SW have those on his track Z06 in silver?

Never mind on that SW's are HRE's but they're not the same.
