Torque and HP are functions of each other. You can't make TQ w/o HP, and vice versa. But if you have something that makes 1000 TQ and 200 HP, it's going to be super slow, but if you had something that makes 200 TQ and 1000 HP it will be fast.

TQ is the force put out by the engine, and HP is the amount of actual work done by the engine.

Torque doesn't matter. Never has, never will. Oh, and RPM doesn't matter either. 500 HP @ 7000 RPM is the exact same as 500 HP @ 10,000 RPM.

Every time i leave G Force I leave happy. yall always do a geat job on my car. I was hopeing to get to the track this weekend, but looks like ill be at work instead. Maybe I will get a chance still, I will have to see.

im lost here! how come my ported eaton cobra 565/640 would out run a twin screw cobra 600ish/540ish all day long????

Weight, gearing, driving, traction, or fake dyno numbers. Way too many variables to say but I can assure you torque doesn't mean anything in racing.
