Well can you blame the tuner or is there an actual mechanical problem like a vacuum leak somewhere you havent found, a whack port job on a TB, hole too big in TB blade, etc...I wouldnt blame it all on a tuner until I dotted my "I's" and crossed my "T's"

if you want to make some power dont go with a cam off the shelf.. take it to sqr and get them to custom grind you a cam.you will pay a little more but the power is worth it

It doesnt cost anymore for a shelf grind then it does if you get a custom spec for your application. be leary of places that do this.

let me re-phrase that go have them spech you out a cam then have comp or cam motion grind the cam..then take said cam to sqr for the install and tune...the shop doesnt charge extra money for that ..the company that grinds it might..

previous owner had sqr keep the car an additional 2 weeks to try to find the problem but they never could find a solution.

The company nor the shop shoudl be charging extra for a custom grind cam unless its custom lobes you are after to fit into an Ls1 engine...9 out of 10 times its just a lobe profile out of the book anyway.

Just because a shop couldnt find the problem doesnt mean one doesnt exist.

What you dont seem to understand is that you are paying for the time and knowledge to spec a cam for specific mods and goals.Believe it or not some people actually like to get paid for there time.
